Gala Dinner and Auction

$150 per person or $1,500 for a table of eight (8) - tickets available soon

Celebrating Tradition, Stitching Hope

From its humble beginnings in 1983—when a dedicated group of women came together to honor the rich cultural heritage of quiltmaking—the Holiday Quilt Show and Auction has grown into one of the last remaining all-hand-quilted shows in the United States. What began as a passion for preserving tradition has become a beloved biennial event that brings artistry, generosity, and community spirit under one roof.

Each year, hundreds of volunteers generously devote their time, talents, and resources to craft breathtaking handmade quilts. Fueled by the kindness of our community, the Quilt Show has raised over $4.75 million to support Intermountain Foundation’s mission of delivering world-class healthcare to the Salt Lake Valley and beyond. These funds also advance vital medical research and education—helping shape the future of medicine while honoring a cherished legacy.

Donate a Hand-Quilted Quilt

Thank you for considering the donation of a quilt to the Holiday Quilt Show and Auction. Quilts for the 2026 Holiday Quilt Show and Auction should be turned in on or before Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Quilt Days

Join us for an old-fashioned quilting bee every fourth Tuesday and Wednesday! Bring a friend and know that lunch is on us. We will be offering short tutorials on quilting, stitching, binding, preparing sleeves, hand and machine appliqué, hand piecing, border treatments, labels, pressing paths, and more.

As space is limited and to know how many lunches to provide, signup will be required. To be notified each month when the Signup Genius link is active, please email Dennis Morganson at [email protected].

Quilt Days are held at the Intermountain Foundation warehouse in South Salt Lake.

Cause area

Proceeds from the 2026 Holiday Quilt Show and Auction will support Intermountain Health’s Women’s Heart and Vascular Program.
