IT Worker at Clinical Facility vs. IT Worker at Business Facility

Workers who take on temporary roles within laboratories, clinics, hospitals, or other clinical settings are collectively referred to as IT Workers at Clinical Facilities, while those who assume temporary roles in office buildings not located on a hospital campus are known as IT Workers at Business Facilities.

Worker Onboarding Requirements

Details about onboarding requirements can be found here.

All onboarding requirements are tracked and recorded by RightSourcing.  Required documents referenced or located on this website must be completed and returned to a RightSourcing representative.

The worker's staffing agency must ensure workers successfully complete pre-screening requirements as a precondition of the worker's assignment.

Workers are required to complete Intermountain's orientation materials and any additional pre-requisites before their work assignment can begin.  Compliance requirements, forms, and orientation may vary depending on the work assignment.  RightSourcing will provide these materials.

Department Orientation must be completed within two weeks of the worker’s start date (completed by worker and Intermountain representative).

Workers requiring access to Intermountain systems should receive an Intermountain account or user ID.  This account is temporary and must be activated by the worker prior to their first day.  Instructions for activating an Intermountain account.

End of Work Assignment

  • Off-boarding

RightSourcing will provide the assigned Intermountain manager with a 60-day notice of their worker’s contract end date.  Managers may extend a work assignment or proceed with offboarding requirements.  Off-boarding instructions provided by RightSourcing.

  • Work Extensions

All work extensions must be coordinated through RightSourcing.  Worker extensions that exceed a year from the original start date will require the worker to repeat compliance paperwork, see item 2 above.
