Agency information

A contracted temporary worker provides temporary services to Intermountain through an established contractual relationship between the worker’s employer and Intermountain. The information on this site pertains to temp and travelers assigned to Intermountain hospitals and clinics located in Utah, Nevada and Idaho.

All temp and travel agencies must be contracted with Intermountain’s Managed Service Provider (MSP), RightSourcing. Intermountain cannot contract independently with a staffing agency. Locum Tenens agencies are contracted with Intermountain through its Supply Chain. Procurement, compliance, onboarding and billing are managed through RightSourcing.

Worker onboarding requirements

All onboarding requirements are tracked and recorded by RightSourcing.

The worker’s staffing agency must ensure workers successfully complete pre-screening requirements as a precondition of the worker’s assignment.
Workers are required to complete Intermountain’s general orientation/education and compliance paperwork. Compliance requirements, forms, and orientation may vary depending on the temporary work assignment. RightSourcing will provide these materials.
Clinical facility workers are required to complete an OSHA medical questionnaire for N95 and PAPR training, if applicable to work assignment.

A department orientation must be completed within two weeks of the worker’s start date.

Workers, participating in patient charting or requiring access to Intermountain systems, should receive an Intermountain account or user ID. This account is temporary and must be activated by the worker prior to their first day. Instructions for activating an Intermountain account.
